Whimsy Creations are folk art characters created by Laura Benge. Like most folk artists, Laura creates her originals from reclaimed wood and creates these unique whimsical pieces, enticing the character and personality out of each piece of wood giving each a life of its own. Reproductions are then cast from the original designs. As the saying goes "it is in the eyes", Laura creates a figure but the whimsy comes from the way she paints and slants the eyes!
